A soldier in the Popular Mobilization Forces was seriously injured and lacked the money for surgery. Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis came to him and paid for all the expenses. The soldier then began to repay the favor at the shrine of the martyr Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
